Doctor Chavarria has been a professor of surgery at the Universidad de Ibero América since May, 1998. He has also been a profesor of surgery at the Universidad de Ciencias Médicas, “Andres Vesalio Guzmán,” since 2002.

At this time, he performs plastic, cosmetic and reconstructive surgery at Clinica Biblica Hospital, Hospital Mexico (in San Jose) and the National Rehabilitation center in San José, Costa Rica.
